Anyone seen this trailer for the new Bruce Willis movies?

Looks pretty good from the trailer. It reminds me of an episode of Sliders though, where they travelled to a dimension where everyone was hooked into VR machines but controlled large robots in the real world. I'd say this one will have a higher production quality

This debuted at no. 2 in the US with $15million - it does look remind me of an episode of Sliders

Willis's hair looks dreadful he needs to stick to the shaven head / bald look

It looks like a mishmash of I, Robot, I am Legend, The Matrix, Blade Runner, AI and a bunch of other sci-fi movies, the running time is listed on imdb as 88 minutes? surely that cant be right, end credits are taken into that so you're talking about a movie thats barely an hour and a quarter long

Reminded me alot of a much poorer minority report (Spoiler: wonderful new piece of sci fi makes world utopia but can be abused by the man who made it) but its a one note film playing up one aspect of the technology and nothing else. The plot is a mess and the jumps of logic are annoying.

Not to mention a few plotholes and inconsistencies here and there a small one being: Spoiler: the ending has all the surrogates collapsing and going limp but the humans were saved by the technology shown earlier in the film, yet when it was shown earlier the robots lock up when the user is blocked yet that doesnt happen here, instead we get pretty sparks and crashes etc

well, a disappointment for me, didnt like it and very short, like it was thrown together =(

Spoiler: They should of just called it Isurrogate, as it felt alot like irobot :P

Read the comic a while back and thought it was good, but by all reports the movie has eschewed the themes of the comic in favour of explosions and action scenes (quelle surprise!), which is a shame.

Saw this last night and it was ok. Didnt feel it was that short tbh and is worth a watch imho.
