I'm a beginner. Looking for lessons in the Cork City area.

If you know anyone good and very patient (and not too pricey, I'm a broke student) let me know.

Ta.

Semi-intensive driving lessons?

Hi all

I know that intensive driving lessons are not a great idea but i need to do 2-3 days with 2-3 hours a day with a driving instructor. Can anyone recommend someone good that can do this in Dublin over the next week?

Thanks

Booking Driving Lessons

Hey, I'm Dublin (south-side) based, and looking at booking 3 or 5 driving lessons for my girlfriend and wondered is there a place where people recommend for both price and quality of service? Price more so as I ain't flush with money being a student!

Choosing not to buy lessons off the people I did it with as I thought they wern't that good.

Thanks for any help!!

Driving lessons

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good driving school in Dublin southside to me please? I'm looking to book 5/10 lessons with a reputable school/instructor with some competitive prices.

Thanks

Hi, am looking for a driving instructor in booterstown area. While a good price is important, I am mainly looking for someone very nice and easygoing as I am a 23 year old total beginner, and am very nervous, so personal recommendations from other nervous learners welcome. Thanks

Looking for an instructor around the Terenure area. Have only done a short bit around a housing estate a few times but that was a year ago so I'd be at a complete beginner again I'd imagine! Anyone have any recommendations?

Saw the below post earlier in the thread and it echo's my wifes situation.
terrible confidence problems at the start, she can drive it's just getting the confidence to put it all together. I bought her an automatic which has helped enormously as it means she can concentrate on the road and not the ears/pedals. So would appreciate a similar instructor that will help with preparing her for the test and her general driving confidence.

She's aiming to do the test in churchtown and we live in the D6w area
Appreciate any recommendations.....
especially from candy_pants if you managed to get sorted

Thanks in advance

I know there are plenty of threads recommending good driving instructors so I hope I don't irritate anyone by posting this message but I have had GOOD instructors but what I need now is someone really exceptional!

I started driving 3 and a half years ago. Had approx 8 lessons and I was doing really well. My driving was becoming more confident and slowly more skillfull. However, I didn't have insurance and a car of my own so I couldn't get in regular practise. Now everytime I sit behind the wheel its like the first time.

It's becoming a serious problem as I have gone from feeling quite confident and driving for long periods of time to being agitated behind the wheel even in an empty car park.

As I'm becoming quite distressed the longer this goes on, I'm looking for an instructor who will understand how difficult I am finding getting back on the road and someone especially patient. I know most instructors are great and patient but has anyone out there had someone really exceptional who can help me with this block that I have?

I am going to search through the boards now but I really would appreciate someone recommended to me based on my experience...

Thanks in advance...

UPDATE: I would need an instructor in the southside of Dublin
