As for the rest of that well it's just waffle really
Your intitled to your opinion as i am too, at Least i have put my money where my mouth is and actually invested in our irish banking system along with other irish companies hoping that we will see somekind of recovery sooner rather than later, 90% of my stock picks is with IRISH companies, I wonder what percentage you have actualy being prepaired to invest with IRISH stock, not too much i would imagine.

Is that supposed to be some kind of a slag. Because you invest in bad Irish companies then you're some sort of hero? That's hilarious.

I have no money in Irish stocks. There is much better value out there

The point is Ranger is giddy when AIB or BOI are up and he sh*ts himself when they are down... Keep the toilet paper dry for tomorrow ranger...
Like I said panic early ok

If you a patriot you would invest your money wisely and spend the resulting profits in Ireland, not speculate on overpriced rubbish.... My opinion

All you guys who are saying sell sell sell etc etc etc are the same guys who said it from january onwards, and are the same ones who missed the boat and missed a HUGE opportunity to make a nice return.

BOI are safer and in a better position then AIB, therefore if anyones gonna be nationalised its AIB (which is still small at that), there is no way, that both AIB and BOI would both be nationalised. No chance. Therefore making BOI a good med-long term investment. I dont see how anyone can argue with this.

The Ranger post template....

"share price (sp) is up/down, mention some possibly irrelevant factor why price has moved and why it may move tomorrow, throw in the phrase 'support' so he is sagely investing on both technical and fundamental factors and finally insert a smiley face"

it's getting tedious

You mean this January when the price fell by nearly 90% before recovering on the back of an overall market rally? How anyone could put money in a company that came that close to extinction is beyond me

Bullish by name and bullish with your comments in relation to my aib-boi stock,
As i said earlier i am not worried holding aib-boi, SP will recover in time, 2-4 years or so i doint mind holding, As for toilet paper much rather use a doc leaf or me finger as i did when in the services.

Do any of you really believe BOI and AIB will or could have been both nationalised?

Oh and good med-long term investment in this thread basically translates as "I'm down money but I'm not getting out - I say med term but the minute I see profit I'm taking it". As I recall the same people who say it is a good med-long term investment were saying the same thing all the way down from €8. I wonder are they still holding them for the med term??

I believe they could have yes. If the markets hadn't recovered as strongly as they did in March then what else could have happened. They had no capital and their shares were valued at less than 20c.

Not much has changed for the banks except pie in the sky NAMA and a huge equity rally
