I changed to Talk Talk, now my bills are €60 per month..
Huge saving.

Now heres the good part. With TALK TALK you get to call the UK for free -
And I too have had serious problems with the DICKS from SKY and being left on hold for years and then getting cut off -
So I went in search of a land line number in the UK (scotland to be exact)

For new and existing customers of all Sky services
00441506 421720

I got a Pakistani with a Scottish accent!? double whammy!!!

So anyways, there you go folks. Change over to Talk Talk
Your calls will be cheaper than the eircom shower of planks
and you get to call the UK for free.
Im on Vodafone @ Home and my bills have been €35 per month inc Linerental, 3Mb Broadband and Free Landline calls.

I'm fed up after I was put on hold for 20 mins, cut off and then charged €12 by eircom.

Even a Geographic number which could transfer a caller to customer care.
All sugestions appreciated
According to the eircom site the charge for a call to 0818 is 8.57c per min so according to that info you should have been billed €1.72

1.60/min x 20 = 32 euro ????? not 12!

12 euro / 20 min = 60c per min

I know it may not have been actually 92 mins i had to wait but i couldnt take a chance!

They get so much money from the calls but would they not be better trying to offer decent customer service, even if you are contacting them to cancel?

Hello All,

I currently work in the Sky Ireland Cork Office we only have a certain number of Departments down here, The Departments that we have are Attractions(New Customers) Revenue(Existing Customer upgrades on sky+,multiroom and sky+HD, Retention (Cancellations, Downgrade on Viewing Package,Moving Home department,Coming back to sky within 12mths, Then last Department is RTM (were retailers in shopping centres call in)

Now there the only Departments in Cork rest Customer service for Ireland is based in uk its a irish numbers so dont worry not been charged UK rates same with Billing in Uk,,, Technical Department is Bases In India and overflow in Uk so if India to busy call goes back to Uk.

Here is some Direct Numbers to Call in

As you know 0818719819 is the Main Number with all the Options

0818719811 Is Technical Department (Option 3)
0818719858 Is Customer Service Direct Line you can go straight to them and they can transfer you to any Department
0818718836 Option 1 Is for Existing Customers Option 2 is for New Customers
0818718829 Installation Department if your calling regarding order you have placed also this number tends to act up sometimesso best bet is to call customer service and ask for install Department.

Any More questions dont be assamed to ask Guys!!
