Once upon a time a little man was happy with
his family and then they got killed...

and then the little man got to hitting back as he
could'nt take no more...

he got a name for himself.

Paul Kersey.

that man ruffled so much feathers he should
be considered a hero.

Anyways...

DEATH WISH. One of The Winner's best films along
with THE SENTINEL.

You can forget the rest.

Just finished watching Senna, blown away!

The fact that I have no interest in F1 is a testament to the quality of this film, if you have not seen it yet watch it!

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - I thought this was a very good comedy with some poignant scenes along the way. Tom Wilkinson was excellent playing a gay man searching for the man he loved decades earlier. There were some genuinely funny moments in this and Maggie Smith's character delivers most of the laugh out loud lines. Well worth going to see in the cinema.

Titanic - haven't seen it since I was 12 or so (when I saw it 7 times in the cinema!). I still like it, it's watchable though some bits are a wee bit cringe-y.

Casino:brilliant stuff from Scorsese and his usual band of merry men (Robert deNiro and Joe Pesci). The rise and spectacular fall of the Mob-Controlled Las Vegas. Stomach-churningly violent at points, but the story rips along. Almost 3 hours long, but such a brilliant film, the time flies by.

The Prestige: Christopher Nolan directs this Victorian-era tale of two rival magicians (Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman) who will go to any lengths to outdo one another. Everyone around them is merely a pawn to be used to try and gain an upper hand. It also contains more twists and turns than most films and is stunningly brilliant. Well worth a watch.

Scream Trilogy: harmless fun as teenagers get killed by the seemingly immortal killer Ghostface (the voice is so creepy). Great fun and classic 90's horror with a good dash of self-depricating humour thrown in for good measure!

Considering the news of a sequel I thought I'd go back to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure since I hadn't seen it in yeeeeeaaaaars.

Jesus, time hasn't been good to this film. It had some funny bits (Like Keanu going "Woooowoowowoooah!!" every now and again ) but overall was a bit flat and the bodacious dialogue gets old fast. It's a fat slice of harmless 80's cheese.

If anything, I'm interested now in how they'll make Bill & Ted 3 work.............if at all.

Ive been busy watching films since Monday.

A Seperation. Such an amazing movie. Hard to pick who is right and who is wrong, which makes it very human. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish

Europa Europa. Strange to call a WWII survivor story funny, but this had great comedy in it, which I suppose is needed to make the hardships more bareable. The protaganist was a real chameleon. This is probably the best non warfare WWII film I have seen, although I am due a rewatch of Schindlers list.

Point break. Awesome movie. Definate classic, despite Swayze being the only one in it who can act. Love this movie.

Special Forces. French Movie about a botched rescue mission to free reporter Diane Kruger from the Taliban. Like Black Hawk Down in the mountains really, but very good nonetheless.

Bloodsport. Keeping with my forgotten gem mood of movies lately, I watched this last night for the first time in about 15 years. I'd like to say Its aged badly, but I think it looked aged when it came out. Its great fun though.

Dirty Harry. Caught it on TCm the other night. Seen it 10 million times, but come on, its awesome

There was another film, but for the liofe of me I cant remember what it was...

Paul:

Quite a silly film overall but I laughed countless times throughout. It wasn't necessarily funny but I burst out laughing when Spoiler: they walk into the country/Western bar and the Cantina music from Star Wars is playing in the background on fiddles etc. Hilarious and a very subtle comedic moment I thought.

It's a very enjoyable film overall and lots of various sci-fi movie references throughout.

Mutants; French zombie fare with similarities to 28 Days Later and I Am Legend. Not great, but not the worst zombie movie I've seen. Hell, it's not even the worst zombie movie I've seen this week.

alien was on telly again last night.

didnt mean to watch the whole thing but just got sucked right into it.

the suit looks dodgy as hell in places now but its STILL a cracking film that holds up incredibly well for when it was made on the effects front.

no mean feat.

got me nicely pumped for prometheus.

I enjoyed Paul and got a great kick out of the references, from the moment sigourney weaver's character was introduced I was waiting for someone to utter THAT line and I wasn't dissappointed. You know the one I mean

Absolute tripe of the highest order. Great soundtrack though and the only other thing I did enjoy - and I'm not ashamed to say this.... was all the Spoiler: t*ts!
