Couldn't deal with 4 Classicos in 1 month. But I didn't get a ticket in the draw for the Cup Final, so another 3 chances

I could see something being done though, like having Ramos or Khediera do a number on Messi or Iniesta in the first of 4 matches, to hamper them for the next 3, I'd definitely be worried about something like that.

Delighted with getting Alves hopefully locked down, the man is probably the fittest player on the planet, indespensible at right back, I can't even think of another player who could replace him, the workrate he offers and his standard of football.

We'll beat them in the league and copa del rey final. A score draw at the bernabeu and a 0-0 at the camp nou

I can't see past Barca winning everything providing we don't lose Messi or Xavi for an extended period of time

The loss of Abidal is terrible, though.

Abidal is apparently out until august - according to a Zubi chat with Butragueño.

Del Bosque has named 6 Barça players (Valdes, Pique, Iniesta, Busquets, Xavi and Villa) for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers - Pedro and Puyol currently injured.

Good aul Sid has pointed out that we will have a double Clásico in next seasons Supercopa - however that aint mathematically confirmed as yet.

So we could end up with 7 Clásico by the end of 2011 by my reckoning - I for one am totally against this - It will just take away from the spectacle.

What is your point exactly ? The match is on a tuesday. They will obviously fly home on the tuesday night and arrive back home in the early hours and Pep will give them wednesday off. The flight is just under 4hrs. There is only 1hr time difference between Spain and Ukraine so jet lag wont really be a big deal. They will have a good 30hrs or so from the time they arrive home until they train on thursday lunch time - plently of time to recuperate. Barca had to travel 1,000km by road to Milan last year, arrived in the city only a few hours before kick-off and had virtually no recuperation time and ended up getting beat but not once did Pep use that as an excuse which he easily could have done.

Hey fellas, just wondering what is the likelihood of the Almeria game getting switched to a Saturday? Official site says it's on a Sunday but I know it could get changed at short notice.
I might be in Barca on Saturday the 10th of April so it would be great to see a game. Thanks

Game dates/times are not finalised until about 10 days beforehand in la Liga.

I can GUARANTEE you the game will be Saturday night.

If you look through the Barcelona Calendar of matches, ALL Barca's matches before a Champions League game have been on a Saturday.

All 8 so far, whether on a Tuesday, OR Wednesday, the previous league game has been Saturday. The match after Almeria will be Tuesday, so I definitely can't see it being on the Sunday Night.

I'd say go ahead and book a ticket for the game on the Barca website
