The Bus is about €20 return and takes an hour/hour and a half. Reus is cheaper and pretty much the same distance from Barcelona. I seriously doubt anybody from here is going over though.

I would be heading over if I could afford the flights and could get a place to stay for a night. The people I usually stay with are gone to S.A... basturds

If I could get there, I'd probably vote for Sandro. He seems to be the natural successor to Laporta.

Not to mention the players he has helped bring to the club as well... Ronny, Deco, Eto'o, Villa, Ibra, Henry, Yaya, Dani Alves and bringing Pique back. And having the cajones to appoint Pep

Would like him to stay on, but when he does go I would like Txiki to stay on. He's been a real shining light of Laporta's reign...along with all the trophies of course

Right on brother

Txiki is a legend.

Real unsung hero of the Laporta era.

Txiki has been excellent for the club - cant fault the man.

Voting is well underway in the Catalan capital to see who becomes the next president of FC Barcelona. Over 34,000 members have already cast their votes according to reports.

Laporta “I can go feeling content and pleased because I have a good feeling that the mission that we proposed on the day that we took over is complete,”

“I am particularly proud of lifting Barça back to be at the top of the world game in both sporting and media terms,” “Also, we have defended the Catalan identity of the club and earned great respect. Like my colleagues on the board have all said, we have dedicated the best years of our lives to the club. It has been a great honour.”

“I think it will be a model process and will be like a party for Barcelonismo,” “The members are the true owners of this club. Today they should exercise one of their fundamental rights by voting. It is a day to enjoy and is democracy in its purest form. It is a day for democracy and participation.”

“In the democratic election in the United States the president that is outgoing has every right to give his opinion about who is the best person to take over. I always look to defend the rights of FC Barcelona. That is why I have backed a continuity candidate.”

Some of Benedito's ballots have disappeared according to reports.

Iniesta will play against the Swiss is what is being reported - same as last week.
