I like it. It doesn't sound like baked to shiite DAW music.
I think it really gets going at around 3 minutes - I think the band loosen up more. Close to 4 minutes it starts sounding really good. I think it's a warming up thing. Something I've noticed about a lot of peoples recordings - the second half usually sounds warmer and looser than the opening. I think it's because people are a little stressed at the beginning of the recording, they're trying too hard not to make mistakes, so they lose that feeling of it being a bunch of musicians playing together, with the natural dips and grooves in there. After 3 minutes the track starts to get that feeling that isn't really there earlier.
The intro is ripped straight out of a Tool song - Straight out plagiarism.
I think the singer has a good voice, but those lyrics are awful. It's a real waste of a song.
