Thanks, Sebastian. It is a real team effort, and great to be part of it. I get by with a little (or a lot of) help from my friends.

Nope, no band as such, is a studio project at the moment. I decided to take the approach of getting some good recordings done before creating an online presence. From the same recording sessions we have 3 more songs to get finished, so they have priority at the moment.

There you go.
Vocal up a bit. Notched a bit of high mid out of the guitar to make space and pushed level a bit. This is now the final mix that is being sent to the label.

My record recorded in Electrical Audio:

http://ivanstjohn.bandcamp.com/

Engineered by Rob Bochnik and produced by me. It's the culmination of tons and tons of home demo's and the drums, bass and rhythm guitar were recorded live. We did the whole thing in 14 days, a track a day and then 4 for mixing. We spent a lot of each day setting up mic positioning etc and then we'd do 4-5 takes and pick the best one.

We mastered it in Abbey Road. It sounds fantastic on a good set of speakers. Laptop speakers make me cry.
