It's going here because the cider drinking woman puncher prick on drums is the track. John Bonham.

New track, haven't done anything like it before, turned out quite interesting..

It's kinda dance/techno/chiptune..have a listen. I think there's something infectious about it...

Any fans of Muse here? Decided to do a different song to the normal hits. So I chose Mk Ultra which I think is a great song!

Have a listen!

I did a Christmas song last week,

and there's some other stuff (not songs really) on my soundcloud, but apart from that no! I have a whole load written but not ready to record them!

Be more adventurous with your lyrics - you have an interest voice (in the same way the Chinese say: may you live in interesting times). The out of tune bits are really off putting at first - but after a repeated listen they're actually sound good more character. ( the later part of the song sounds better than the rest of the song - which mean you're probably working from the start to the end - I've noticed with lots of people - the start of their tunes is a little weak and they get strong as it moves through the song as they're getting a better idea of what they're at - but it kind of sounds inconsistent.)

Some bits are really good. Pull out all the stops on the lyrics.

to be honest it's just meant to be a cheesy Christmas pop song so I don't think adventurous lyrics would have helped!! Most of the best Christmas songs are pretty simple and formulaic in that regard I think, so that's what I was going for!

and this is another track, since I know many of you are electronica fans
this is me showing off in reason.

Lamb Of God style band from last week.
SUPER tight band.
Got a really wide guitar sound by using completely different rigs for left and right rhythm tracks. Mesa triple recto>recto cab left and Peavey 6505>Marshall cab right.
Nice ebow section in the middle too.

Sounding good, Trackmix. Personal preference and all that, but I would like to hear the vocal a weensy bit louder in the mix.

Thanks guys.
As regards vocal level, this was a very "notched" mix with lots of eq holes in everything to get everything to cut through, yet allow me to get the master to really high RMS. Pushing any one thing louder would not let me get that level without hearing pumping. It is at about -9RMS average with no serious pumping or distortion. I could cut a bit of 2-5K in the guitars to allow more space for the vocal but it would take the bite out of the guitars.

I will have a listen to it tomorrow with fresh ears.

Yeah, it was just a thought, the guitars are sounding cool, though. Nice job.
