Yu Gi Oh the Abridged Series was mentioned so often on TV Tropes that I had to have a look at it... Its absolutely hilarious, and I've never even seen the original.

I haven't really taken to it :/ Teamfourstar's DBZ abridged is miles better imo

Yu-Gi-Oh abridged was the first, and it started it all.

A lot of other people went on to do similar things, for a lot of other anime.

The most successful of THOSE guys joined together to form Teamfourstar (which includes the guy who does the Yu-Gi-Oh one, as the narrator/Freeza).

At the moment I'm reading several series.. My prefered one is Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsu), the art and story are simply awesome.

Of course I'm reading Bleach and it's a real pain to have only a 18 pages chapter each week...

I'm also reading Hajime no Ippo and it's reaaaally nice as well (the anime is also nice). It might be on of the longest series ever published since the 941st chapter came out this monday. A great manga that I can only advise you to read!

I've also read Monster and Enden It's An World. Both of them left me quite thoughtful! Truly brilliant series. And there were many more "smaller" series that I went through such as Eyeshield 21, The Breaker, etc.

Neither do I. In fact everything I know about Yu Gi Oh, I know from the abridged series.

I've never watched Sailor Moon, but I took a look at the first episode of this to see what it was like. I got about 40 seconds in before turning it off. Sweet Jesus, that was terrible.

I'd just like to say both Yugioh and DBZ are second to Naruto abridged

It's awful how after watching Bakemonogatari all other animation seems crap

Skimming my collection for what to watch next. Might try Gankutsuou, somehow ended up with the OST and love it

Wanting to start Watching the UC Gundam stuff as a lot of it has been re-released but have no idea where to start, got Unicorn a while ago but wasn't too sure of what's going on.

I don't really want to watch all UC stuff as there is a lot and it would be expensive, i have gotten 08th MS Team and unicorn so far.
