Longford

Wanting to go to Longford, Offaly. How big is it? If its small what's the nearest reasonably sized town that's not too boring.

mullingar is your best bet ,about 20 mins away ,good town,shops pubs etc

I believe there's a place up in the mountains (Sliabh Blooms) called Longford, I could be wrong of course.
