seems it's a bit buggy, and netgear haven't fixed problems that they know the unit has had since it was released over a year ago
still good price for a wireless media player

what sort of a connection would you need on your tv to be able to play music/movies from this device?
Are there any others that people would recommend?

Does this box play the files for you or do you have to play the files on your PC and then stream to your TV?

A computer with wireless and your films/music loaded on it (computer needs to be on).
Or you can plug in a USB hard disk and run files from it.

It plays the films, it can play them from USB/NAS etc.

Actually i meant the Netgear EVA700.
Would be very surprised if PCW had one with similar specs for €40......

I will be happy with the Netgear one i think (Have all netgear stuff at the moment and very happy).
