Work experience uniform?
ok so i have work experience next week in a financial place, {mercer}. so anyway they tell me today that i have to wear "smart clothes, no jeans/tracksuit pants". so now im a bit confused as to what exactly i should wear. they didnt specify anything, only something smart? can anyone help before tomorrow? (when i'd be able to buy something if needed) thanks in advance!

just wear a shirt (not your school shirt now, a proper one
) and trousers, black ones or thoes beige thingys.if you dont have a shirt. a plain polo would probbaly be enough |

I'd say just a shirt, trousers, maybe tie depending... or you might even get away with just trousers and a jumper or cords or something...
I have to dress "smart/casual" for my work experience too.. have no idea what I'll wear! |

I could wear whatever I wanted both times I was work experienced, but I didnt go in a tracksuit or anything, smart/casual I think its called. But I think I was allowed wear what I wanted because the lady I was working for really took a shining to me and was very nice
