no 4 is Robert Doisneau, Kiss by the Hotel de Ville.

Overindulgence in wine has killed my brain this morning though 2 might be El Greco but not sure, at all, at all........

I typed a long and detailed then thought that sounds so b***** patronising...

So, Mexican....... Mexican Mural Renaissance..... Stalinist..... Tee Hee I don't hold that against him.... An Art Nouveau illustration published in the newspaper "El Universal", January 24, 1919.

I tried googling it, knowing the title and author. and couldn't find any thing that related so...lots of clues..

of the trio .. only one was a stalinist.. Colonel in the Spanish Civil war.. jailed .. did most of his large canvases .... at El Presidente pleasure... Tee hee...
