this guy was born 1749...... your man was boren in 1774 both in the Allegory but..one a romantic landscape and the other .... hmmm.... Rococo frivolity or rathter offered an alternative....... politically active and friedns of two very high powered French...leaders....one got too axcited and lost his head.

OK back into Mod mode...... the image and the second image lead on to the third .... LOL ....... lot of swearing..... and there has been lots of debate over teh salute.

and yes, that is the front of a car....... Ok..OH they didn't have cars in 1700's when ever it was..... but that's the parody......
