Afraid it's not Rosalba Carriera . .Our mystery lady was apparently mentored by one Michelangelo no less.

10 out of 10 GV. Hope I don't get into trouble again for posting a video here.

Sofonisba Anguissola (1532-1625) Self Portrait 1556
The Latin inscription reads: "Sophonisba Angussola virgo ipsius manu ex speculo depictam Cremonae" or Sophonisba Angussola, virgin of Cremona, has depicted herself with the aid of a mirror.

Okay this is another self portrait- i've copied JW's filter technique - it neon glow!

Thanks for the Video psssst -( stop trying to tease Oblomov away from his stress - he has to make a living - don't distract him - you have to wait until Sunday to do that

I had never heard of Sofonisba Anguissola - is'nt that terrible. Quite a competent painter she is. Its awful they way that the men took over all the Art History Books!

No sign of Bastados - My Mac almost died a couple of weeks ago - It was a graphics card fault that killed off the Logic Board ( Euro 900) - If thats your problem Bastados - PM me - I got it fixed for nothing - you need to quote Consumer Protection law back at them!

Again here, I just typed what I could see in your image into google, a clock, a bed & added self portrait.

Edvard Munch Self Portrait: Between Clock and Bed

I'm gonna try something a bit more difficult for the next one.

I haven't ever seen this painting before but its a very interesting painting in terms of the drawing within it.

Impressive deductions Ob.

I am fascinated in that the child' s drawing is the same as childrens drawing now. Also there is something a bit lens like in the way this artist rendered it both optically but also lens like in the narrative being observed here.
