B'oh! Never realised. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time I've done something like that, I always thought that Ford Prefect was Ford Perfect (Dyslexia, y'see?) untill the film came out.

I'm sure there'd bajillions of other words I go around in complete ignorance of inaccurate spelling on my behalf. Still, that shalln't stop me!

Very nice, probably the nicest neck I've had the pleasure to play. The back of the heardstock is laquered, but then the rest of the neck is unlaquered.

It really is. The pics don't do justice to the amount of birdseye detailing there is in it.

And it sounds great too. Must say, I'm really quite liking the D-Sonic in the basswood body. In my Mahogany K-7, the DS sounds very muddy, but much nicer in the Petrucci.

The finish is just gorgeous to behold. I love it!

Congrats. Is this the last twin humbucker 7 with a trem or are you gonna start on 7 hardtails now?

Thanks. I won't say anything for definite, because who knows what the future holds, but I don't think I'll be getting any more twin humbucker 7's with a trem, or hardtail 7's.

I think I'll start getting a few 8's now.

Nah, it's not complicated at all. You've got your regular pickup selector switch, volume, and tone. The 3rd knob is the piezo volume, and then the switch on the top horn is the piezo/magnetic pickup switch. Then you've got the stereo output jacks, where you can have the piezo and magnetic signals sent off their seperate way, or you can have both signals from the same jack. Then there's just the piezo EQ on the back of the output box.

You know, when I say it like that, it does sound complicated. But really, it's not all that bad.
