Octavia Driver seat Windup Knob

Hi All
i have an 03 Octavia and the plastic know for winding back the seat has broken. Is it possible to exchange it with the passenger seat knob?
If Yes how difficult is it to do that?

has the knob actually broken off or is it just spinning around and doing nothing

Should be easy enough to source a replacement part from a scrap yard. Chances are the part is the same as used in VWs, Seats and Audis too.

Broken off completely and no "teeth" to grip the actual mechanism underneath it.

both sides are the same, the part will be very cheap.

You might find your local dealer is surprisingly inexpensive for that part.

You're a gas man - still flogging that old chestnut. Its surprising how people appreciate lower prices more when they're not on commission.

OP - still recommend giving your dealer a call. You might find its worth your while, compared to the effort in tracking one down.
