My suggestion would be to have to scoops on the friday night, head to the MANHATTAN on saturday morning about 3 am for the fry (fecking smashing stuff, the prebuttered toast is exceptional) and then get a few hours kip and hit the barge for a large bottle of clonmel chardoney about 10.30 and go from there. At that stage you have the dinner in and can have a good run at the drinking day.

Now that's a Great weekend

Is Manhattan that pub near Portabello that opens up after clubs close and do breakfasts? You get a great feed in there alright. I couldn't believe it the first time I was introduced. Its like a secret society or something. People go mad when others find out about it!

There's an italian chipper on the corner of marlborogh street and earl street(almost facing the pro cathedral) that do a great all day breakfast, made to orde, sausages, eggs, bacon, pudding, tea and toast..less than a fiver if i recall. If your in teh finglas neck of the woods there's a cafe beside mason estates in the village that does three sizes of all day breakfasts from 6 to 8 euro and a smashing mixed grill for less than a tenner.

I'll second that. Its massive. The large one is basically a plate of egg, rashers and sausages and extra plates for everything else, mushrooms, beans, chips. All the coffe/toast/bread you want- €8.50.
The small fry is enough for most people.
Very tasty.
