Hi guys,

I recently bought a 2:1 CD/DVD sound system for my Dad's bedroom. It's a Ministry of Sound product and it seems pretty good... in fact, it's too good. At it's lowest setting it's too loud to watch TV at night without disturbing other people.

Is there any way to reduce the signal coming through the wires to the speakers without affecting the sound quality? Can I put resistors or something like that on the line? If so, any advice on the best way to do this?
