Michael Long to the rescue

A classic but it was a while ago so here goes:

On a Saturday 2004, a car rolled off of the pier in Roundstone, Co. Galway, and into the water. Walsh’s Recovery was called to extract the car from the harbour.

Now was the crane too small or was it badly set up or both? I guess the operator was not certified?

With two vehicles now clogging the harbour, Michael Long truck and crane hire was called, they arrived with a much larger Palfinger crane and the Harbour was eventually cleared. Note the one Garda overseeing the operation.

The entire population of Roundstone was wiped out except for two old men and a donkey.

Heh I was there when that happened.

Note to all you stoner kids: Don't lean against your car when it's close to a pier without the handbrake on

What was it actually? Looks like a Toyota of some sort.

Would they not have gotten done for illegal dumping?

Loof in the second picture. Do you see the man in the blue jumper beside the man in the red jumper. Do you see the do between the Crane and the water.

Now look at the third picture.

So my question; Who is quicker the man or the dog?

Yup, was going to go down to take a few snaps but was enjoying a lunch in town. Wonder if there was any damage?
