I'd say so.
But how well it'd play is the big question mark.

Wouldn't trying Rainbow Six: Vegas at least give you a rough indication of how it will run given that its built on the same engine?

The levels are much more enclosed in R6: Vegas and the PC port runs horribly anyway :/

incase you all didnt know - there's been a midway private seminar in Russia with some Russian pro's - UT3 was one which was tested. there's an article on beyondunreal forums.

also a guideline spec was released with this - low detail can be played with a GeForce 6600 or equivilant.

The machine used for the testing was a C2D e6600@2.66GHz, 2GB RAM, 8800gts 320MB - giving a steady 65FPS (not sure what graphics settings, I'd assume med/max)

Same here, great piece of news altogether (especially considering my monitor can only handly 1280x1024, and they were most likely running at 1600x1200+

Can't bloody wait for this game, bring it!!!!

UT's historically been CPU intensive. 2k4 ran like a dream on the 9800 pro, which was a mid-range card at the time. I'd say you're looking at low settings but playable.
