Government Conspiracy?

I can think of no other explanation.
After a couple of days of not being able to connect to the iol DoD server, I thought I'd check the boards for any news of it being shut down. Nothing. So I went into mirc and asked about there. I was told "That server was laggy" but nothing else. Any time I ask in the ign tfc servers or in mirc I get no answer. Are the government threatening to make you disappear if you talk about it? :/
Could someone please tell me what happened to the DoD server, and where Druid and the other regulars are playing now? Please?

Ah nothing as sinister as I thought. Away with the Matrix DVD and George Orwell books for now.
