Author of the lcnotes.blogspot.com blog. I’m a masters student in Trinity College, having done my LC in 2007 and attained 8A1’s, including all of the above subjects at higher level. I’ve been there myself and have tips on efficient study methods and exam technique – you won’t find better grinds and better advice for your exam. Offering to work on any areas of the courses, go through papers, answer the trickiest (c) part questions and facilitate revision. I have experience in this over the last 5 years, with the students and parents always happy with the grinds. Reasonable rates. For further details contact me on 0879465892.

Wanted: Recommendation for Hons Maths Grind giver - Rathmines/Ranelagh

Looking for a recommendation, from a grindee, for a grind giver (Rathmines/Ranelagh/Dartry area).

I am looking for someone really hot on lifting someone from pass to hons Maths and on imparting a real understanding of the meaning of the Maths. Not just a problem solver.

Tks

Subjects: LC Biology, English, Irish and Geography (Higher and Ordinary)
Location: Cork city
Student's own home: Yes, if required
Cost: 15 euros per hour
Email: sonya_b71@hotmail.com

I have just completed the LC and got 600 points, including A1s in all these subjects. I'm taking a year off before going back to university in order to save for college fees. I have notes from last year that helped me to achieve these grades.

Subjects: French (JC H&O, LC H&O); Japanese (LC H&O) - note, I am also willing to teach Japanese from scratch for students who wish to learn it outside of school.

Location: North Dublin

Grinds in Students Home: Yes, depending on location.

Contact: sinead.cawley3@mail.dcu.ie

Experience: I am currently studying a Level 8 Honours degree in Japanese and French in DCU. I did my LC in 2008 and received 8A1s (600pts) all at higher level. I am very experienced in exams and know exactly what examiners are looking for. I always say that the Leaving Cert is 50% knowledge, 50% exam technique with the latter often being disregarded by students. I can take solo students or pairs - just mail me to discuss numbers and rates.

Grinds in Students Home? No, I'm a student with no transport
Contact Name: Rose O'Connor
Email: Yubel.101@hotmail.com
Phone no: 086 845 7087
Can start from: 12th Sept

Bio: I have just finished my Leaving Cert and I got an A1 in English, History and Geography and I'm willing to teach at higher level. I didn't get an A1 in French so for your sake, I won't teach it. However, I was contacted to say that I got top marks in the oral examination. I also had a natural flair for Art History in school and constantly received top marks in it with a B1 in the Leaving Cert.I have recent first hand experience of the examination enviroment which I believe is a big factor of the year as a whole and I can help you through that.

The reason that I'm starting from 12th Sept is because I am moving to NUI Maynooth campus accomodation on that day.

Rates: €15 per hour

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this.

I am an MA English student who received an A1 in my own leaving cert English exam in 2009. Hourly rates of €25, or two hours for €40. Absolutely no regurgitation of notes! I would like to meet all students before starting to work up a lesson plan and personalised schedule for the duration of the grinds.

I am a Second Year college student, studying Irish and French, offering grinds for Leaving and Junior Cert. I received A1s in both subjects in the Leaving Cert. I offer both classes in writing, both essays and literature answers, and in oral preparation, particularly now that the oral is worth more overall; however I can also tailor classe to your personal weaknesses and areas you would specifically like to cover. I charge €25 per hour.
