Chemistry Grinds

Subject: Chemistry
Location: Dublin
Grinds in Students Home?: Flexible
Contact Name: Josephine
Email: josephinemily @ hotmail. com
Price: €20

I have just completed the leaving cert and am beginning engineering at UCD. Throughout school I had a passion for chemistry and often gave grinds to 5th and 6th years. I find that being taught by someone who remembers what sitting in a chemistry class is like, hugely helpful. It also allows me to explain concepts using a different approach to most teachers, which very often helps bring things together for a student. I would love to put my enjoyment of chemistry to good use and to pass on that enjoyment to other students.

Grinds in Students Home? Yes
Contact Name: Steven Kelly
Email: stevenkellyrn @ gmail . com (e-mail if you're interested, my mobile number can be given to you then - don't like sharing it online!)

Hi, my name is Steven Kelly, I'm 19 (almost 20) years old and I'm from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. I received an A2 in my Leaving Cert Biology in 2013 and I'm currently going into my 2nd year of Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing in Trinity College Dublin - so I'm well up to date on my biology knowledge! I am very familiar with the layout and marking schemes of both the Higher and Ordinary level papers.

This is my first year giving grinds. I charge €15 for 1 hour, 30 minutes. The topic that is covered during this time each session is up to you, although I need to know a day or two beforehand so that I can prepare my notes, questions, etc.

I will also, if the student wishes, prepare a mock examination for them to sit in December and April (as most mocks in school are held in February). I charge €30 per student for preparing the exam, supervising you for the three hours, correcting it and giving you detailed feedback.

I am available on Saturdays and Sundays only. Hope to hear from some of you! Any questions, please e-mail me or PM me on here. Thank you
