I've had the opposite experience. I simple am not willing to spend up to an hour a week sending 'you not my type' replies. I did it for a while but not any more mainly because of hounding that followed).

I know that feeling so that's why everyone that i got talking to i didn't expect anything but i closed my account a few weeks back but i will probably open another one up in a month or two.

Which could be....

160% of users like to talk to their pets while drinking their blood,playing World of Warcraft and putting milk cartons in to the normal bin.

Had a really good date last night. Got on really well and ended the night kissing. Definitely seeing her again! The match system seems to be pretty accurate.

On another note: has anyone else got the 'Want to help moderate OKCupid' email from them? I now have access to flagged pics, mails and profiles and vote on whether they breach the TOS. Seeing some...em...interesting stuff in there.

So,Just back from my okcupid date. Went ok. He was very nice and friendly guy. I felt a bit like a therapist during the nght though,when he was describing his emotional problems. I woudln't say I would be madly attracted to him physically.However, he was very nice and we are on a similar wavelenght,so will defo give him another shot.Sometimes I find it very difficult to be physically attracted to someone even though I probably should!Anyone else have this prob?

Well Im sooo close to jumping back on the internet dating bandwagon..went clubbing tonight and not one guy approached me. Thought my problem was that i was too drunk when going out but tonight i was driving so was stonecold sober, I must have a really angry looking face or something!

As a guy the I can say alot of us have had bad experiences or rejection from Girls in clubs, that's not saying you can pick up a girl in a club do but unless a guy is drunk he's not going to approach a bunch of girls

I gotta say though- as someone who spends a lot of time people watching on nights out, I have yet to meet a more shy or socially awkward group than Irish men *takes cover from the hail of verbal bullets*. What is this hang-out-in-little-cliques-all-night-ignoring each other and then when last call is announced, scramble for the girls business? I have actually seen a guy walk out of a club, turn around and say, 'eff it, I have needs', walk back into the club and come back out with someone. Meanwhile, the girls stand in their little circles and wait until all seemingly eligible potential has been exhausted (read left).
