Probably not of interest to most of you string based instrument types but I just bought a Roland TR-505 drum machine, keepin' it old school

This should tide me over until I win the lotto and get an 808.

A man walked into a shop...
He asked for a Bender Stratoblaster and a Mega triple Rectumfire amp.
The shop assistant says: "god youre a drummer aren't you?"
Man: "Yeah how'd ya know that!?"
Assistant "Because this is a travel agents"

Finally arrived and I found that the stupid **** left batteries in it for the last ten years which had started to leak. Doesn't look like much damage and I can still run on AC but it means backing up my loops might be a problem. Hmmm.

    Have him "iced" :p

It works grand for making loops on the fly which is perfect with me. There's an external storage option that I can use as well so all is well. Damage isn't severe, I'll take off the casing and give it a good strip down in any case. So I'll let him live.

There's been enough bloodshed in the name of music. I'm sticking to bloodshed in the name of science.
