    This thread is for anyone that has any surplus information or paperwork that they wish to pass on for others to use, such as birth, marriage or death certs that were ordered in error. I'll start the ball rolling with this birth cert which isn't currently relevant to my research.

    I have quite a few that were not relevant and would take a while to scan them so for the moment I'll just post the details, all County/City Cork. If anyone wants info on any of these I'll scan it in

    I think the way you've posted them makes more sense as any privacy or copyright concerns there may be with posting scans of original documents won't arise.

    I have quite a lot that I'll do up in a list, probably all cork certs but i wonder would there be some way to create something seperate like a sticky where you just add the certs maybe by county, then by surname, and just your user name then so if someone would like a copy of the cert they can get it

    I got five Michael Gallagher birth certs today, unfortunately none of them 'my' Michael. 2 x Ballina 1872, 1 x Ballina 1871, 1 x Sligo 1872, 1 x Tobercurry 1872.

    I have another few Michael Gallagher birth certs from Sligo/ Ballina/ Tobercurry from 1871- 1874, also a Michael Gillespie birth cert from Ballina 1874 that has been indexed as Gallagher- some poor person will never find that record!
