Deed of Covenant - anyone done it?

Hi there,
I am looking into setting up a Deed of Covenant for my Parents who are retired. There is info on it at revenue.ie Has anyone done this? It seems too good to be true? Free money? I would be grateful if anyone who has experience of this could share their views,

Sincere thanks for your links,which I've checked. Also you informed me on a second topic... Bumping. I had to look it up,(with my friend google, ha) as I am a genuine newbie on boards, but once again thanks as I now know what bumping is.. Ha.
