Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Irish Colleges CTF Event

    Hi All,

    IT Blanchardstown are hosting an Irish Colleges Capture the flag security event in October. The event will be open to college teams (teams of 4) with the top teams winning entry for this years IRISSCON CTF, as well as a few other goodies!

    Early days yet and plenty more details to follow, but for now we're looking for contact details for any college clubs/societies or faculty members who might be interested in getting more details.

    We're hoping to release all challenges and solutions after the event to help act as training aids to help build the scene and environment in Ireland, so all comments and suggestions greatly welcomed.

    Anyone with links to any companies looking to get involved would be also greatly welcomed!

    So feel free to post or PM me.

    We're definitely open to allowing other teams enter, but we'd like to have a college's Winner! So if there is interest we'll have a non colleges category also!:)

    Im sure some bright sparks will kick our stressed corporate asses, but its not the winning, its the taking part that counts.

    Im sure you'll manage to hold your own :) Anyways we plan to cater for everyone from beginner all the way up..so something for everyone...
