Anywhere around Limerick - including out of town - that stocks this yog?

Dunnes in Childers road stocking it too.

Just wondering would this yoghurt be good as a post workout snack? Is there a lot of protein in it?

The 170 gram pots break down like this:

    97 kcals
    17.5 g Protein
    6.8 g Carb
    0 g Fat

500gm pots are on offer at €3 and 170gmpots are €1 in Dunnes in Rathmines

Good news: this offer is back in Dunnes in Rathmines.

Bad news: I took the last six 170g pots.

They always have a few in the Dunnes on North Main Street if anyone in Cork is looking for them!

can anyone let me know the sugar content? I'm eating biopot at the moment but its so lumpy, I prefer greek yoghurt so if the sugar is low enough i'm on it!

Do you have to strain this yoghurt? I always find it a pain if I have to do this before I can eat it?

    No.

In the words of Weird Al Jankovic, you 'just eat it'.

They started selling this in the Tesco in phibsborough , as nice as it is I find it really expensive though .
The Tesco Healthy Living 0% Fat yoghurt had similar macros but was only €1.50 for a tub! once they sold out they replaced them with Fage which is like 3€

On sale in Dunnes Sandyford for 1euro! I did buy the last 5 tubs though :P love!

Hi guys, I work in a Dunnes dairy department. It should be in all stores, but if not, just ask for it to be ordered in, they should be able to. Also, I think the current promotion ends the 8th, although I could be wrong.

And if you're looking for it in Longford, there's a strong possibility I've bought them all. Sorry about that. :P

Bought the last ten tubs in Rathmines over the weekend. I may have a problem.

Any cheaper alternatives out there? It's a bit on the pricey side. 500g tub at €3.50 will only last me 3 or 4 days.

You could try Tesco Fromage Frais

    Liberte Greek-style yoghurt

  • Registered Users Posts: 39 jtthom

50c cheaper, not too bad I guess!

500g tubs of Liberte are currently on offer in Tescos for €2

    Liberte Greek-style yoghurt

Good call. Tastes nicer than Fage to me, but probably isn't as healthy.

Why don't you think it is as healthy?

It's not real greek yogurt is it? Probably more sugary and less protein.

Liberte has more kcals and protein , sugar difference is negligible .

But glob forbid anyone actually checks..

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,691 ✭✭✭Lia_lia

I don't really like the Liberte one. When you're used to the Fage one it just seems so watery!

Liberte had really good macros! I really just buy the Fage 170g pots when they're on special at €1.

But per 100g Fage isn't all that much better. I just prefer the texture a little more.

I haven't seen Liberté in any stores I shop in so I can't check. I'll keep a closer eye the next time I'm shopping. I love the texture of Fage.

Yeah the Fage 0% has more pink on the tub and the full fat has more blue on the tub. Both options should be there
