It's The Naul. Sorry I can't answer your question - just thought it might help if you're googling it.

    Not your ornery onager

Hi can anybody tell me about the car boot sale in the naull dont know if ive spelled it wright thank you

This is the info that I have on The Naul carboot sale:

    Balbriggan Car Boot Sale
    Balbriggan, Co.Dublin

    Every Sunday from 8:00am – 2:00pm

Apparently traders start to gather as early as 6:00am!!

Sellers: Cars €15 and Vans €20

Directions: If you are coming from Dublin on the M1, there are two exits for Balbriggan. 1st exit is signposted as Balbriggan/Walshestown. 2nd Exit is signposted Balbriggan/Naul. Take the 2nd exit. When you reach the top of the slip road, turn right and head over the motorway bridge, go through the next small roundabout on the other side of the bridge. Take the next right and it’s only a few yards further on from the roundabout. The entrance to the market is about 200 yards down on the right hand side.

Information is unconfirmed so if you get anything fresh please enlighten us all!

I'm posting this up for you because I wish someone had
done it for me, would have saved me a lot of walking around.

I am a visitor to Dublin also, and have been in the city for a few weeks now.

    I have been to these:

Blackrock Market - the best I have been to - lovely shops and very
    nice, chatty stallholders. http://www.blackrockmarket.com/

Dublin Co-op - Nice stalls, they do differnt things each Sunday.
    http://www.dublinfood.coop/html/events.html#sundays

Dublin Auction Rooms - Not bad, get the Luas to the Point and
it's a 5 minute walk. They have auctions and a car boot sale once a month,
and have loads of bric-a-brac tables open other days as well.
    http://www.dublinauctionrooms.ie/

George's Street Arcade - It's in the centre of town, it's ok but
not as good as Blackrock. No real antiques or curios, but plenty of clothes
    and records/books. http://www.georgesstreetarcade.ie/

Jamestown Market - Really can't recommend this one, I'd only
go back to it if everything else was closed.

Tallaght Car boot sale - Complete Rubbish don't bother.

Artane Indoor Market - Complete Rubbish don't bother.

I would recommend to save yourself wandering around the city
(as I have done) just go out to Blackrock Market on Saturdays
and/or Sunday - there's loads out there to keep you occupied.

Which train station are you staying near?

Is it Heuston or Connolly? If it's Heuston you
can get the Luas from there to Busaras or Connolly
and get the Dart from Connolly to Blackrock.

Not a bad spot, you can make the guys an offer on anything in the
warehouse that is not marked for auction.

Bring some water and somthing to eat as well, as the nearest
shop is a good 5 minute walk away.

Ask to see the stuff that they have not cleaned yet behind
the partition inside the warehouse, there's loads of stuff there -
a lot of garbage, but you never know...

@barneysplash - Wrong about Tallaght; it's incredibly varied from week to week, with an average of 200 cars. I was selling books there last week (disastrous - just about made my €20 entry fee back, if that) and the stall next to me were a family selling off various bits and pieces from the attic, including beautiful lace-trimmed linen cloths for 20c; really regret not buying a couple, but I'm being ruthless about getting rid of excess at the moment. I did buy a nice pair of pinky-red linen trous for €2, though.

Anyone know when the Greystones sale is on?

    Great post!

A few others for you, there is a carboot sale and market every sunday in the point village. Still dont get why they canceled the point village market..

Also, the liberties, you have the meath street market aka liberty market, and a new one right by it on thomas street. Forget the name if it now but its supposed to be good. Also in the same area, francis street. Mostly antiques but loads of 2nd hand shops along this street. The antique hub of the city.

There is also a big market on the last sunday of each month in the coop in the liberties.

There is a saturday market on pearse street at the grand canal docks end. The flea market in grand social bar at the weekends is good too. Basically there are loads, but i do think dublin could do with a major city market every sat and sunday. Smithfield square would be perfect.

There are loads of food markets if you google farmers markets dublin.
