    Hi,

I created some social media icons in Illustrator. I exported them as a 64x64 GIF but they look really blocky in my browser.

What's the best way to export these icons in Illustrator or Photoshop?

I've attached two of them below and linked to my AI file.

These ones seem fine when I view them anyway. I just opened the AI file using Photoshop, and saved each for Web/Devices as a PNG. Not sure why it came out like it did for you.

Silvine, any particular reason you're putting together your own social media icons?

There's no end of free/royalty free social media icons available, to the point where it looks like almost every graphic designer has released a set of social media icons. There's literally hundreds of different styles of them available.

I'm most definitely not a graphic designer but I do recognise the value of good graphic design. If a project I'm working on won't support a graphic designer, stock icons/vectors/photos/backgrounds are almost always a better alternative than anything I could cobble together myself. Just try and match styles for anything you go with otherwise you end up with a frankenstein page that looks like it was bolted together from spare parts. I'll stop there before I start answering your post in the Website Reviews forum.

Thanks everyone. I put my own together as I want to use Illustrator more. I'll take a look and try again.
