Im heading to ardmore for the weekend to do a camping session on the beach..

Is there anyone that can tell me what the weed is like?

Weed can change from tide to tide. It is usually worst after a big blow. Recent settled weather should mean little or no weed in the water.

i was down there about 2 weeks ago and the amount of seaweed was wicked ,as said already it may well be ok now

Well there was no weed, the water was gin clear and also no fish...lol

Done the trip water was gin clear but only got 4 small flounder..... Sure maybe next time...

cant get the pics for some reason,thats a pity you didnt get much but sure a day out is a day out in the end

,just out of interest was it boat fishing or off the pier/beach ?

Off the beach, ballyquin strand.. Seems to be pretty poor.
