Officially its 2 up & 2 down. But depends then on who signs up the next season and every so often its rebalanced to stop one sided hammerings in a league

That's what was in my head, but wanted to check. think originally when second league was created it was 4 up and 4 down which was madness!! arose due to top 4 getting trophies.

Celtic Superstars have already sown up the league. Their only loss was from nonacceptance of their first game (vs TMUWT who also didnt accept!)
Alling (3rd) are at home to TMUWT(2nd) in the last game of the season to determine who get second place and promotion!
Toronto Dutch have been the whupping boys of this league, but still managed a Bonus point win (walkover on Ponyo)
Ponyo only started accepting games from round 12..starting with a -22 point handicap :eek:

Superstars not on 55?? ie 12 wins = 48 points plus 9 bonus points = 57 points minus 2 point deduction = 55 poins

Season round up
1-The Jacks A+
13 wins (including a walkover) and 1 draw (15-15 with Fingal in round 4) gave The Jacks the title. In truth it was won in style. Nobody really came near them. The draw with fingal was a blip

2-Gideons B+ (would have been an A if they accepted all their fixtures)
2nd place might have been first if they had turned up for their round 1 game vs The Jacks. Potentially 7 points were left there. Still Gideons were comfortably runners up.

3-Rath Rugby B-
Rath cruised to third place. They beat 2nd place Gideons, but managed to lose to others lower down the league (Galway). That inconsistency cost them 2nd place (and promotion). Improvements for next season could see a title/promotion tilt!

4-Fingal Physicians B-
Fingal fought it out for the season. Bonus losing points and try points helped them along to fourth. The only club to take points off the title winners! Consistency (or lack of) let them down.

5-Couch Potatoes C
The spud men had another hard campaign this season. It was round 4 before they had a win under their belts (a walkover), and round 6 before they had a win on the pitch. Their games were tight affairs (winning 3 losing bonus points), and a PD of only -42. This toughness won them 5th place despite winning less games than the team below them.

6-Galway French C-
6 wins and only 4 bonus points for Galway cost them 5th place. Good when winning, but shipped more than 40 points on 6 occassions! In danger of relegation with 4 games left, but 3 wins from 4 saw them safe.

7-Newcastle West D
A tough season for the Newcastle boys. Started well with 2 wins from first 2 games but went down hill from there. Only other wins were walkovers. Lost 85-0 and 88-0 in successive weeks to the top 2 towards the end of the season. Pick yourselves up lads and have a go at promotion next season.

8-Reaper RFC NG
Anybody seen Reaper? No show all season. Maybe they'll resurface in time for a Div 4 promotion attempt next season.

If anybody sees any mistakes let me know. Table shows just how tight the division was this season. Draws & bonus points all round for the top teams. 3points between 1st and 4th...and 11 back to 6th.

All we need now if for somebody to do Div 1 and we have all the tables (and to distribute trophies too!)
