Have you thought of learning to dance. Declan Flanagan teaches rock'n'roll and jive dancing to all ages in Castlebridge hall on Tuesdays and The Bailey Enniscorthy on wednesdays. They are a mixed group of all ages and it seems a great social outlet. You can find him on Facebook

Hiya, female in early twenties here, just moved to Wexford for the IT campus. Just wondering if club and societies don't work out (heard there is not much in wexford campus, unlike the Carlow campus), is there any social group for people my age to join in Wexford town to make friends? Or is there any good volunteer groups in the town?

    What hobbies are you into?

Well, I do like photography, going to the cinema, theatre, exercise that is not sport, like Zumba or dancing in general, going to any type of festival, whether music or just the local.
I do like socialising, like going out to bars and nightclubs sometimes, which is why I really like to try out the nightlife here, but be a bit awkward doing that on my own.

That's all I can think of. I mean I know that Wexford Drama group take on new people, but I couldn't help but noticed that it mainly looked like a more mature crowd. Same with the online Meet-Up groups.

I am willing to join up anyway, just to do something, but i'd like to know if there is anything suited more towards my age group.
