Vectra dash clock

    2006 Vectra 1.9 cdti has been sitting up for a year but recently the dash clock has stopped working, its displays all warning symbols but the speedometer, rev counter, and miles dont work, do not show miles at all just this
    .
    Any advice guys

    try rebooting by disconnecting battery & reconnecting . failing that , get a diagnostic scan on the vehicle , it might throw up some instrument cluster faults . these clusters can be repaired no problem .

    not working, was told it may work out cheaper to get another secondhand one from scrapyard 25 euros and fit it in, i think they need to be coded in

    yes it will need to be recoded so to do it by diagnostics you will need 2 security pin numbers,one for your own car and other for the replacement cluster,the other option is to bring them both to a repair shop who will be able to manually transfer the immobiliser data.
