Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Any one set one up in elite yet?
    Given there's bonuses for grouping up, the more we can get to join the better.

    -Added-

    Please follow these steps to join the clan.
    1. Log onto elite.callofduty.com and register your details.
    2. Make sure to link your gamertag to your account on the profile page
    3. Ask here for an invite to the clan on this thread or PM me.
    4. Add people from the clan list or the about last night thread

    You can view clan members from the main multi player screen by pressing the 'Y' Button and pressing right until you reach the Boards.ie page.

    Please try to use a mic if you have one, its the only thing we really ask.

    During the beta there was a clan under the tag #boards_ie very few people were in it though.

    true, but there was 1.7 million playing yesterday - so we should be able to get a few to join :-)

    Are you on xbox? We have a few from the xbox section on boards that play some hardcore game modes just to let ya know. We wouldn't be a clan in the sense of the word, mainly just a casual group having the craic.

    I'd be interested in being part of maurading gunslingers on MW3, could be worth getting a few bonuses etc while playing. GF is away all weekend so i'll be giving this some serious attention.

    there was a lot more then that playing as there were already people on my friends list ranked 2,200,000th last night when I stopped playing around 10.30

    Yeah I'd say a few of the lads would join a elite clan. after all dont you get new camos,emblems etc

    I couldnt find how you create a clan on the website tho. Anyone have any luck with it?

    Elite is still down at the moment so no one can yet. Should be fixed soon.

    Is there a pre-determined clan tag naming procedure? Put me in for it anyway when Elite decides to start working. Nearly time to head back to base to continue the good fight!!!

    I set one up a little bit ago using the name #boards_ie, apparently when you search for a clan and it doesn't exist it sets one up.

    Has Elite started working yet? I tried it again last night but its still coming up with the error. But i'm all over this when its all set up. USing the boards tag seems like the best option, if its already set up.

    Does anyone else have the hardened edition/elite premium? If they do we could organise double, quadruple or more xp between us when we set it up.

    Also, who's going to be the 'clan leader'? There can only be one..

    Well, that's Princes of the Universe going on! :D It'll be days before Elite is properly running, so it's then taht we can sort it. I have Elite Premium, I'm pretty sure at least 8 people here do too! :)
