    .. or it's beginning ..
    .. or it began ..
A train in Canada with about 280 people on board has been put under quarantine, after one passenger died and several others reported flu-like symptoms.

    Source: BBC news

Could this be the Zombie outbreak? It supposedly happened an hour ago, so if movies/books have taught us anything, then the passenger will re-animate in 2 hours.

Lads I can't find anything about Zombies in Willie O'Dea's Handbook for Surviving Emergencies! I'm seriously panicked.

Where's my iodine tablets? I can't find my fvcking iodine tablets :eek:

Oh if only we had a Zombie forum we'd know what to do.

If movies have thought us anything, it's that it takes two weeks for it to run it's course and will take out 99.x% of the world's population. Dublin will still have traffic problems.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

If the outbreak can be contained on that continent we should be fine ... for the time being at least.

    Do the same as all emergencies;
    1. Go inside.
    2. Sit down and have a nice cup of tea.
    3. Listen to RTE on the wireless.

Well if it happened in Canada then I still probably have enough time to get the bus to work, work for a while, go stack up on tins of tuna and sweetcorn, buy a large amount of drugs, get a few shovels (with nails sticking outta them) and download some porn before the internet becomes overloaded with posts by zombies making no sense at all.

I don't think flu like symptoms are much good for zombie plagues. A much better candidate are the rhabdoviridae family of viruses, which are resposible for both infectious hematopoietic necrosis viruses (blood rot) and the rabies virus.

Tell me thats not a winning combination! :D
and download some porn before the internet becomes overloaded with posts by zombies making no sense at all.
If you haven't already got terabytes of porn safely tucked away, just hand in your zombie survivalists badge now.

/thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it

So it's been a few hours since she died and there hasn't been any news reports of her re-animating. But would we ever find out though?

(we need a shifty eyes smiely!)

    Take car.
    Go to mum's.
    Kill Phil
Grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

I've already killed my whole family to make sure they aren't zombies.

Now I'm going to kill myself.

Zombie-prevention is an easily ignored part of the battle against the undead.

    Good point.

So we should herd everyone into camps and slowly kill them off in groups, thus diminishing their future numbers.
