Actually, joking aside, its these vocals again that I have serious trouble with - they do my nut in, and speaking of nuts, they do really remind me of Alvin & The Chipmunks.

Ha - I think you could have just ruined that track for me. You are right though, the vocals are alarmingly chipmunk-like. But you know what, the vocals never bothered me before, I just liked the music - and now all I can hear is Alvin et al :(

One of my dubstep/house/techno hybrid/bastardised tracks is being played by barry on tonight's filter.

listen in on the streaming player http://spin1038.com/onair/schedule/#

By the way, Barry's show features a good bit of the kind of shtuff in this thread if any of y'all have never heard it.

    where's the serious DUBSTEP here?!!

finding techno and house is easy, but dubstep and drum and bass is more difficult.

i just went to a pub tonight because they said they'd be playing dubstep all night, but they were only playing techno, maybe it was to please the crowd but it wasn't what i was looking for.

On a friday go to the Twisted Pepper and if you don't hear drum & bass and dubstep (and any other type of bass music), I'll eat my shoe.

Some cool tunes on there but I've seem to have lost the connection now.. ah well. I'll be listening in next week me thinks. Now to watch the Walking Dead on Sky Plus or as I like to call it Ireland after the Next Budget.

think it's because the track he's playin at the moment is a James Blake one (i think). It's meant to sound like a dropped connection :D .

lol at the Ireland post budget comment.

Actually budgecopalypse would be a good headline for the next few weeks.

welcome to Dublin. You'll quickly know every single person on the 'scene'. In fact one of the kingpins of dnb/dubstep/garage/bass music in general in Dublin is a regular forum degenerate on here (Executive Steve is his name).

    Actually where is he??
Anywho, he'll show up and bombard you with every piece of information you'll need (trust us on this).

Cool.. I had a look around the site and had trouble finding it. You got a direct link? It's a shocking website really for a Radio Station. It's like it was made by a transition year student.

Got it.. No D/L which is a shame.
