So is episode 2 definately out on Wednesday?... Can not wait, I don't even watch the TV-show but may start watching it soon... Amazing game, if this is the way all Tell-Tale games play I shall be buying more...

As good as TWD game is, Max Payne is GOTY for me so far.

Awww... and I was pretty pleased with myself for spending 20 euros instead of 50... have to go buy max now

Haha, well TWD isn't a bad purchase anyway, really glad I got the season pass for it.

The TV Show is pretty different.
    Not a bad show though.

I own a good few telltale games.
They're pretty similar. They specialise in point & click.
I'd say this is more decision-driven than most of their other games.
The timer on decisions is different from the others I've played.
I really like this series, but since I'm a massive fan of Back to the Future, buy more.

I haven't read the past 3 or 4 pages, but did anyone side with Larry?
Ah, looks like nobody did. Spoilered just in case :p

It's not looking like it, I mean I would love if it was out Wednesday but surely they would have announced it by now.

Thats a bloody joke, I was expecting it this month not in June  ... I just want all 5 episodes why can't they just release all 5 that I paid for :(..

Because Episodal development means they can get your money now, give you part of it, and still use your money to fuel the other 4 parts of the game to give you later on.

Never buying like this again, I think next time I will wait for all episodes to be released ..

**** off june dats very vague way were goin be lucky to get 5 by xmas

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,477 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Yeah, I wish they had a date for each episode. If one is running late fair enough as long as they keep us updated but I don't like this 'every month' and then 'june....' it's too vague.

Ah Max Payne is taking up all my time atm and then Batman DLC is out end of May so that will keep me going till episode 2.

After seeing the promo for episode 2 at the end of the first episode it looked like they had everything prepared.

It's possible that they didn't expect the popularity they received and are now doing re-writes to include more characters from comics/ tv show in an effort to convert even more Walking Dead comic/ tv show fans into Walking Dead game players.

    According to wikipedia

The game will be released in separate ensembles consisting of five episodes in total.[11]
    Episode 1: A New Day - April 24-27th, 2012
Episode 2: Starved for Help - June 30,2012
Episode 3: Long Road Ahead - August, 2012
Episode 4: Around Every Corner - TBA
Episode 5: No Time Left - TBA

Got a few more weeks to wait unfortunately

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,477 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Last week wiki said episode 2 was out may 28th or something like that, wouldnt trust but it would be wel crap if we had to wait til the end of june.

Surely there cant be 2 months between episodes. Personaly next week is plently late enough

E3 schedule shows The Walking Dead Episode 2.

Fairly bad to unveil it at e3 when it should already be out by now!

    06/06/2012 | 3:20PM - 3:40PM PST - Walking Dead: Episode 2

A few hours to finish, no official word on ep 2 but seems they held it back to get publicity for it at E3 hopefully this week or next.

About 2 hours for the playthrough but you'll most likely want to play it through again to see what changes happen when you change your decisions

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,406 ✭✭✭Nollog

Took me around 2 hours too, the choices are timed though, so you have only a small amount of time to think as you make choices.
It would be longer, but not as good a game if they didn't have the timer.
