Ah yes, but don't the schools at the top of the tables also tend to be the biggest? That's partly why the Institute is always near or at the top, it's huge. Also, those league tables only tell you how many students from each school get into each college - for all you know they could be in a low points degree like Biblical and Theological Studies, so it doesn't back up your point that people in southside schools get higher points.

You realise that the figures for each marking area are pretty much consistent with the national figures right? If to many people are getting too high a mark, they are corrected harder, and visa versa. It makes little difference to the top grade and bottom grade, they would get the same anywhere. But to the people in the middle it can make a difference.

I can't believe none of these brainy northsiders could put forward a single sensible arguement in this topic. You should have tried maybe arguing a point instead of continually picking up on bad punctuation to ridicule southside posters (ha ha sangre is a legend). Lazy punctuation should not be an indication of intelligence.

o my god for the last time get off my back

they were giving me the whole "the north soide is loike all poor" i was simply trying to level with them.

yeah i'm (comfortable but) not rich= eg. am currently job hunting on order to save my post-leaving cert holiday, my parents cant give me money for it! (wouldnt take it anyway, cos i want to say i paid for it myself)

the caviar and escargot refer to his middle class up bringing, as in he was fed them as an infant, not that they amde him the sad sicofant he is now.
