Im considering finding a course in IT. But there seems to be so many course to choose from. I really don't have much interest in programming I dont think I would have the patience for it but "computer and laptop repair" might Interest me more. Does anybody know what coure would be most appropriate

Don't bother with a course if that's what your after. Just head down to easons and get a book on pc/laptop repair and start taking your pc/laptop apart and putting them back together. Ok there is one course, do the A+ certification.
Be aware though, that area is really at the bottom of the pay ranking. Anyone can do it so anyone does it. Microsoft also have a desktop tech cert.
    All the best
