    Hi all,

I am hoping to get a better weight training plan in place after being sick for some time (I'm better now). At the moment I'm doing circuits and also some pilates at home as I'm trying to increase my fitness levels again. I'm not being very regimental with time or repetitions and tend to try to aim for doing either cardio/weights for the length of a song. :O

I am a woman in my 20's and I have about a stone to lose. My diet is quite good. I eat very healthy meals but do succumb to the odd biscuit after dinner.

I'm looking to lose weight/ tone up, is circuits the best way for this? I really don't think I have the stamina for the HIIT.

Any suggestions as to what I could do? I tend to do all weights for all over. I see a lot of people having upper body/lower body "days". At my level of fitness, is that really necessary?

    Would really appreciate any help!

Are you lifting heavy or using small weights?

Lift heavy. Watch your diet. Calories in<calories out. Quality sources of calories to avoid you feeling like crap.

What do you do with your weights?

PS - you don't really need to concern yourself with upper/lower splits

I wouldn't be even able to tell you the name of all the moves I do!
The ones I know: lateral raise, bicep curls... the one where you have the weight behind your head and you lift it up and another one where you kinda have to almost go on all fours and raise the weight above you.
I am trying to do lots of lunges either walking lunges or with some weights and a few squats..

    It's rather unorganised... :S
