Might have to get it fixed as it happens - it's only lasting a few days at a time before it dies, and needs to be left on the window sill :(

Anyone care to fill me in why A, it's funny and B, it was removed? I'm guessing it was way overpriced?

A Hublot at €450 might have slight provenance issues!

Picked this up for the wife a long while back but she can't wear it. The bracelet I purchased from Scott Alisson, (timesofplenty, alisson leather works) he sells a lot of nos straps and bracelets. It's a shame to leave this sitting in a drawer, so looking for a good home.

    Any golfers about?

Selling my Citizen BM7120-01A titanium watch, I am no more a golfer than I am a diver but at least the divers get some wrist time.

I bought this off Eoin a while back but it's just not getting the wrist time so time for a flip. Comes with 2 straps as well.

Unusual one but here's one I picked up last year and had some work done including repair of the lugs and a new strap to compliment it. Have my beady eye on something at the moment this is on the block!

This is just gathering dust as you can see from the pics, so moving it on. There are some going cheaper without a stand on eBay, but postage tends to be high (not taking into account any customs). Discount for forum regulars of course :)

I had to return my Torgoen under warranty to be repaired as it just stopped working, but that will be re-listed when it's fixed up and returned to me. My Russian aviator and Sottomarino diver are still available (links in my sig).

I've just put up a Seiko Arctura, a titanium model, dating from 2005 I think, first of a few watches I'm hoping to flip in the coming weeks.

IMHO that's a damn good price. I've seen few enough going cheaper E and the "person" that offered 20 quid... Yea he may offer, but before I'd agree to that I'd take a hammer to it first TBH. As for authenticity, the thing is they aren't faked. Sure their provenance is often massaged "from Soviet Tank/Mig jet" stuff, but faked, no. There were enough made at the time to mean it would be financially daft to fake one.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Thanks Wibbs - I just updated the advert having gotten another silly offer by PM. These are available for 50 on eBay, but that's before shipping, customs and the stand that's being sold with it.

I don't know what it is about adverts.ie that encourages all these stupid lowball offers.

    Edit: Sale agreed!

Second Seiko up for sale now ...

Nice, really exceptionally light watch (if that's your thing) with only very light signs of wear.

I've never sold watches before - how long, in general, does an ad sit uncommented on before I have to give it up as a lost cause???

Cheers, haven't got an email yet so wasn't aware but that's good stuff. Offers are a little low for me but, sure, maybe one will progress just a bit higher? :)

Out of interest, on the other watch I have up there's a definite scuff mark to the side - is that likely a deal breaker altogether?

Edit: Nope - easy, smooth transaction I'm afraid! :)
