I'm drunk and I thought it would be a fun idea for everyone to choose five songs to be played at their funeral. I'll offer my contribution tomorrow.

Bonus points for the person that has the saddest playlist.

Funeral Music should be chosen by the priest, you heathen; and if he chooses anything other than medieval chanting then he's a heathen too.

    Perry Como- Forever and ever.

Holy crap that's a tear jerker if I've ever heard one. Especially when their husband/wife is still alive.

Because you'll be dead and we'll be partying to some funky tunes.

    On that note

    3. The Parting Glass. Liam Clancy

In The Mood by the Glen Miller Orchestra
Take Five by the Dave Brubeck quartet
If you leave me now by Chicago

Honestly, could not give a toss. I'll be gone. If those left behind what to do a thing to help them through, more power to them.

There will be no music. It is only a platform for performers. There will be a short speech exhorting those present to continue the battle against ignorance, superstition, corruption, thug violence and moronic destruction of civilisation. Then it's back to the trenches. The final benediction will be "fix bayonets".

    1. "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)"
    2. "Neighborhood #2 (Laïka)"
    3. "Une année sans lumiere"
    4. "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)"
    5. "Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles)"

I will die without listening to Reflector but I would be more than happy to have the first 5 songs on Arcades fire funeral played at my funeral.
