I really must grab a picture of the old Jet station on The Dublin Road in Dundalk. The price is barely legible but around 57ish pence ?

Don't trouble yourself, with the wonder of google maps http://g.co/maps/5cv5z

Ironically enough, most of the streetview images were mapped when it was around the euro mark.

It'd still be less than 1.30 now if it wasn't for those fecking bits of tax the govt has been putting on the past 4 years

In a couple of years time you will be looking at todays fuel prices the same way as we see these 0.899 per litre numbers from the past and shaking our heads now ;).

Or will we be saying "I remember a time when a unit of electricity was 16c, and cars ran on tankfulls of liquid oily smelly stuff" ??? !!!

TBH, I don't even know exactly how much a unit of electricity is right now, but I know I paid 1.609 a litre for petrol last night.

Or 'I remember before driverless cars were made mandatory and people didnt have microchips embedded in their skin for government tracking'

    Future looks bleak
