Stick Furniture ?

    Hey All, I recently saw a program on a type of woodwork, it didnt use nails or glue but rather wedges and the shrinking properties of the wood to make the joints solid. I think it was called stick furniture but I'm not sure, so if anyone knows the correct term that would help my search :o.

    I was thinking of possibly taking it up as a hobby and was wondering if anyone has experience with it or can recommend a book on it i'd greatly apprecite it.

    Mike Abbot would be something of a pioneer in the revival of green woodworking (or bodging).

    Ah that's it thanks very much.

    It was actually the very program he mentions on the web page (Mastercrafts) which I saw green woodworking for the first time, I'll be sure to check out the books.
