Does anyone know if the names of the big Irish world cup songs that were around in the 1988 Euro championships and the 1990 World Cup. There's one song I can't think of but its based on "We didn't start the fire" by Bruice Springsteen. Does anyone know if they are available on CD????

Meh. If the English decide to join the summer tournament with the other Celtic nations it will have new impetus. "we`re all of to Wembahlee, and we`ll really show them up..."

Just hope i dont have to find myself singing "we`re all party of Terrys army" looking like it though

I'm not sure if all issues have been answered, but I HAVE that tape that was mentioned earlier from the 1990 World Cup. I found it on top of a kitchen cupboard (...never know what yo'ull find up there.. ...) and it was covered in grime and dust. Anyway, some songs are:

Yep, definately. I just look and actually don't have 'Here we go', but not to worry. The others are good too. I'll throw in Dire Straits' Walk of Life too if you want! That has a sporty type of theme

I had been wondering where the heck everyone was in this thread! Anyway, I won't be able to watch the feckin thing on Saturday because I don't have RTÉ or Sky here (Im in the UK). I'll get the score somehow though. I think I can watch RTÉ online too though.

Hi all.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Does ANYONE have any idea who sang or who was involved in Ireland's official World Cup song for USA 94? I think it was called "Watch Your House For Ireland."

I need to find out who the record company was behind it and if there was a video made for it.
